Last April 26, 2012, the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) had its launching of its TESDASPECIALISTA Technopreneurship Program of President Benigno Simeon Aquino III which was held at the Social Hall of the People’s Government Center. The second highest leader of TESDA, Atty. Teodoro C. Pascua, Deuty Director General for Field Operation graced the occasion and he was warmly welcomed by City Mayor Dale B. Corvera, City Vice Mayor Harris Glenn D. Puyot together with the City Officials and barangay captains.

Four LGU Education Assistance Scholars Finally Made It

After years of academic battle, four (4) out of the thirty (30) LGU Education Assistance Scholars have finally hurdle the challenge of earning a college degree. Last April 16, 2012, during the regular convocation activity every Monday at the Social Hall of the People’s Government Center, a simple awarding ceremony was accorded to the new graduates.

SMART Summer Program-Year 2 Formally Kicked-Off

Last April 23, 2012, more or less 900 kids have flocked the Cabadbaran City Gymnasium for the formal kick-off and opening of the Sports, Music, Arts and Recreational Training Summer Program more popularly known as the SMART Summer Program which was started by the administration of City Mayor Dale B. Corvera in 2011.

Cabadbaran City Cited as One of the Recipients of DILG’s Seal of Good Housekeeping

The Department of Interior and Local Government during its Seal of Good Housekeeping Round 2 Assessment has cited the City of Cabadbaran to be one of those 2nd class cities entitled to access the Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) Subsidy in the amount of Three Million Pesos (P3,000,000.00). This is a recognition given to outstanding LGUs for their exemplary governance and outstanding implementation of its programs and projects.
